Our nation, very proud of our youth, who are considered to be the best brains in the world, should be conscious that the best thing is always in a pitfall. So as a section of our youth is. Among the myriad enigma where the youth is trapped, is BOOZING or DRINKING, they are serving themselves with alcohol.
The idea should strike you “Is this menace invading my family?”
In schools…..of course, at the age of 14, 15 or16…..it starts…..with friends…..peer’s pressure…..emotional disturbance…..curiosity to experiment…..as simple as this, that it looks ‘COOL’.
The students involved in consumption of alcohol should try to come out of this world of misconception which leads them to wrong path. If they have a notion that drinking can make them look ‘COOL’ or ‘IN’, then it’s a sorry state because they are mistaken. It’s time for them to realize that they are in a bad company. It’s a health hazard and at an older age they may have to face serious consequences of it.
This is the responsibility of the school, teachers and family to create a culture and environment that ‘Drinking Habit’ among the teenagers and the youth should come to its minimum. In a family it’s necessary that parents are aware of what their children do. Communication gap, Ignorance and lack of understanding also push children to such darkness.
It’s very evident that students even drink in schools; they drink and drive, meet accidents, drink and engage in violence and invite all sorts of troubles.
The schools and institutions should encourage students to participate in orientations and programmes which help them to get rid of this, and even prevent them from entering into it. They should be given moral lessons which may help them to lead a healthy and happy life.
Also the teenagers should become strong enough to defy to those who pressurize or encourage them for boozing (drinking alcohol).
Drinking to relieve tension or to look cool is nothing more than an act of cowardice and malarkey.
Youth should rise together to a higher level of thoughts and should forbid alcohol which is deteriorating their health and their parent’s wealth as well.
