As an individual who has a fond to explore, this Wednesday was special. As this was the first occasion when I saw painting on Kites.
As an Allahabadi, through the years have spent time on flying kites but I was stunned to sight creativity on its peak.
Prominent Artist and H.O.D Visual Arts Department, University of Allahabad, Dr. Ajay Jaitly, who is known for developing new forms of art yet again proved by exhibiting his recent work on kites.
The exhibition was organized on January 25-28, 2012 at Nirala Art Galery, Delegacy, University of Allahabad
Most of us have seen different types of kites whether its shape, size or design. Moreover we had a festival when people flying kites in Gujarat .
But this was the new concept which Dr. Jaitly innovated. The exhibition had several colorful kites which were not only looking beautiful but giving message too. I personally felt like taking many of them not for flying but to decorate it in my home.
Dr. Jailtly has tried to explore the world behind and used kites as a medium. Moreover the famous quote seems true “Creativity has no age”.
Dr. Jaitly through the years have discovered new mediums to transport his message through colors. Any one who visited the Exhibition was staggered.
As this was not only the show to see different creations but tool was novel too. Therefore I may only hope to see several more new forms and arts of creations by Dr. Jaitly.
