National Youth Day: Youth of Nation, Nation’s Youth

“We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet”.

These lines of rousing idol of youth Swami Vivekanand always reassure the nation edifice. In 1984, the Government of India blatant and absolute to recognize the Centenary of Swami Vivekananda 12 January, as National Youth Day every year from 1985 headlong. Every year complete populace rejoices this day with loads of educational sequencers government make plans but do we truly think that are we certainly ensuing our idol?

Vivekananda alleged that deficiency of self-respect was at the core of India's feebleness and tutoring was the chief means of rejuvenation Indian society. "Education which does not help people to equip themselves for the struggle for life, which does not bring out strength of character, a spirit of philanthropy, and the courage of a lion — is it worth the name? Real education is that which enables one to stand on one's own legs," Vivekananda had said.

“Youth is nation and youth built nation” Vivekananda has always in errand of youth he trusts that youth is the sovereignty of country which will bring a new-fangled façade of country in the globe may be Vivekananda has sniffed the forthcoming of country and the determination of youth. But at present each stint youth is probed that being the “country of youth”(20% of India’s population contributes to youth) why still India is lacking behind?

At one opinion India has grasped to mars where we are foretelling technological and science enlargement but on the other hand when rape, harassment, dowry, scandals, spams take place in country it cracks the social enlargement now it is in elevation stretch if the youth will not figure the country then fallouts will be really perilous.

Vivekananda had faith in the youth. Many of his words addressed them unswervingly. He had said : "Out of them (youth) will come my workers. They will work out the whole problem, like lions." With these words of Vivekananda, we can easily grasp his motivations.

"If India is to once again upswing up as a nation of armistice, concord and affluence, then Vivekananda's missive seems to be the solitary elucidation. Youth must guise up to Vivekananda as a role archetypal and as someone who was engrained in Indian philosophy, tradition and heritage, and yet had a modern outlook in life,"

In concrete mode the day when India will tallied further down Developed Country, when trance of Vivekananda will become veracity then and that we will celebrate actual “Youth Day”.
